Creeping Islam

Islam, often mistaken for a religion is, in truth,a violent political ideology hiding behind a false piousness. This ideology is bent on world domination - by the sword if necessary. There is no room for Islam in America - Freedom of Religion does not apply as Islam is NOT a religion! Please, consult some of the news sources from the UK regarding their problems with the large Islamic population they are saddled with and ask if this is what you want in America. We must join together in ridding this country of this violent, subversive ideology of hate!

Follow the underhanded way violent Islamic organizations are attempting to re-package themselves so that Obama and his cronies can still maintain relations and still avoid public scrutiny for doing so in the article below:

No Fear!

No Fear!

Confusion, fear, trepidation, depression, anxiety, worry. You see these etched into the faces of those you pass in the grocery store, at the gas pump, in the eyes of those you work with. They know it. They know that this country, and yes, the entire world is running out of time. They can feel it, smell it on the wind. When they try to sleep at night, sleep won’t come. Instead, they lay awake knowing that their lives, all they own, all their hopes, their dreams - totter on the brink of collapse. Overextended, overdrawn and out of time. Hopeless.

The world has changed so very drastically in just a few years. Not all that long ago being an American meant something special. It meant you were part of a country that led the world in Production, Trade, Invention, Diplomatic Cunning and Power – Military and Economic. America stood for pride, morality and justice. More than anything else, America stood for Honor! No matter where you went in the world people were hungry for anything American, anything that put them in touch with that dream that was America.

That has all changed in the blink of an eye. Today, America is a Joke, a laughing stock  overseas and in South America as well. Our Economic power has been pulled out from under our feet right before our eyes by China and the Eastern Trade Alliance. The American Dollar is soon to lose its place as the world’s currency and, consequently, America will lose its leverage in determining our economic future. Consequently, our standard of living will change drastically as will a great many things.

The Middle East, once “relatively” stable, has been plunged into Islamic Chaos as formerly friendly, albeit corrupt, governments, are replaced by radical Jihadist elements who hate America and are bent on its destruction – those very elements who we armed and assisted, placed in power, and put in the position to do us great harm thanks to our hapless President and his Administration of Anti-American Progressives.

We have abandoned the Christian Ethic that kept our society from being undermined by those who answered to no higher authority than their own selfish human fleshly desires. Now, without a moral baseline more and more Americans are living by whatever code suits them at the time. No longer does one’s word stand for something. No longer is there any stigma or condemnation attached to lying or betraying a trust. Hence, we have become a society of self-absorbed and spoiled narcissists seeking to satisfy our overwhelming need for instant gratification and sensual titillation. Our leaders lie to us continually, so much so that no longer is there any consequence when they are exposed. Consequently, corruption has reached a level unmatched in history. That corruption works hand in hand with the one entity that has the power to expose the depth to which our country has descended, however, that entity – the Main Stream Media, has become nothing more than a mouth piece, a propaganda arm of the Status Quo.

Additionally, minorities comprising miniscule percentages of our overall population through militant actions, bullying and lies have now gained a disproportionate influence over our society, changing bedrock, foundational traditions simply to suit their selfish and ultimately self-destructive desires. These changes carry ramifications that will adversely affect this country for the foreseeable future.

Violence and death strike randomly and with increasing frequency. Mobs of blacks in our large urban cities roam seeking Caucasian victims to brutalize. Unreported by the Mainstream Media, these crimes are increasing in frequency and brutality. Just a few days ago a decorated WWII Veteran was beaten and subsequently died by just such a mob. As they bashed in the elderly Vet’s skull they shouted racial slurs, declaring war on Crackers (White people). Another form of violence, this reported vigorously by the media is that perpetrated by mentally ill gunmen who follow their demons to horrendous ends. The latest happened at the Naval Yard in Washington DC as a lone, deranged gunman gained access to the offices of a civilian military contractor and killed 15 people and injured many more. Contrary to what was first reported he entered with only a shotgun. The other weapons he used he retrieved from his victims – some of them security personnel. Before the gun smoke had even cleared the media had completely misinformed the public about the number and type of weapons possessed by the gunman while Diane Feinstein was already calling for more gun control, ignoring the fact that Washington DC has the strictest gun laws in the US and this happened in a gun free Naval Base. If there is a test case proving gun control does not work, this is certainly it.

Churches and Christian businesses are being told that if they don’t provide services to Homosexuals which violate their conscience, then they can be sued and perhaps prosecuted. In the military, sharing one’s faith can be cause for disciplinary action or even discharge. Military chaplains are being told they cannot reference Jesus Christ but must keep their sermons non-specific - generic.

In Syria, our President clearly laid out a red line for President Assad should that country use its Chemical Weapons. When that appeared to happen the President denied that he set a red line (despite it being broadcast to the entire world) and instead he laid the responsibility for the red line on Congress and the International Community. When asked about his credibility, he refused responsibility – again referring blame to the International community. At the same time his bumbling Vice President, ad-libbing in answer to a question, said that military action would be halted if Syria turned over its WMD’s within a week. The President’s spineless equivocating regarding the redline and Biden’s idiotic blathering provided a huge political victory for Assad and Syria as well as Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, who jumped on Biden’s gaffe and turned it into a diplomatic coup of epic proportions – a perfect illustration of how amateurish, na├»ve and just plain bumbling this President and his Cabinet are in the matter of foreign policy – as if Egypt, Libya, Sudan and of course, Syria, were not already enough evidence of Obama’s incompetence.

I have summarized just a few of the more recent news items which illustrate why people have such a sense of foreboding. It is no secret that Obama and his Progressives are working feverishly to irreversibly alter the face of America. Polls increasingly indicate the People’s dissatisfaction with the direction of the country. Unfortunately only a few are doing anything about and those few are making precious little headway. Benghazi alone should have led to the resignation of the President and much of his cabinet as well as a special investigator and eventual prosecution. The fact that the media refuses to even investigate shows beyond doubt that they are no more than propagandists for the Administration – Something we have been trying to tell the American People for some time.

Without a free press the government can get away with anything. And, they certainly are. Ironically, the Senate just passed a law protecting the Main Stream Media from consequences resulting from their reporting. This legislation, however, leaves those citizen journalists and Alternative Media personnel on their own. Something to think on if you are one of those who refuses to believe the MSM are in the government’s pocket. Back to the free press – without the press to keep the government honest they can lock up citizens for no reason, and they are. They can listen to your phone conversations, look at your email, snoop on your social media with impunity. And they are. With Obama, our Constitution has basically become irrelevant and the more aware of this Obama and his Administration become the more egregious their crimes against this Nation and its People become. There is good reason for fear, trepidation and anxiety.

There is good reason for fear and anxiety indeed unless… Unless you have given your life to Jesus Christ. Look, none of us is perfect. All of us, from you to me to Billy Graham to the Apostle Paul have fallen short of God’s Holiness holy. You might think, ‘hey I’m a good person, I try to help others and live a good life. That should be enough to get to Heaven.’ You’re not alone in those thoughts. A lot of people think the same thing. Many think that if they help little old ladies cross the street, don’t lie too much and are generally good people they will be ok. Some go so far as to knock on doors, or hand out Christian literature or think that if they contribute enough to Jim Bakker they can get to Heaven. But the Apostle Paul tells us that all of us, even Paul himself, fall short of the glory of God. Isaiah says that our sins separate us from God Isaiah 59:2 who is Holy and that to a Holy, perfect and righteous God our works are no more than filthy rags Isaiah 64:6. This might seem harsh but it is reality. God is Holy and Righteous and Just. He is also merciful, loving and full of grace. That is why He gave His one and only Son John 3:16 to take the cost of our inability to live up to God’s Holiness, to take that cost upon Himself and to die, brutally crucified on a Cross and in doing so, pay that cost so that we have the opportunity, in Jesus Christ, to come before Holy God sinless as He is sinless 1 Pet. 2:24.

If you have ever lied, lusted, stole, disrespected God’s name, desired someone else’s things, or wished someone dead then you have sinned. Its plain and simple. And sin has no place in the presence of a Holy God. The only way into His presence is for that sin to cease to exist. That is what Jesus did on that cross. Jesus, who was sinless 1 Pet. 2:22, died once, for all. All your sins, past, present and future died with Jesus on that cross. More than that, three days later when Jesus was resurrected death was defeated opening the door to eternal life for all who believe 1 Cor. 15:1-4. If you recognize that you have sinned, that you are not worthy of a Holy God and you will confess this – If you then determine to turn from your sin, that you no longer wish to participate in actions that alienate you from Holy God, that is, you repent of your sin – then confess this to Jesus Christ and ask Him to be your Savior and your Lord. Ask Him to wash you clean and pour out His Spirit upon you and change you into a new creation 2 Cor. 5:17 Hebrews 5:9.

That is all you have to do. It is that easy. So many people spend their lives striving to please God enough to go to Heaven when they die because they cant believe it would be so simple as to just believe, confess, repent and ask for salvation. But it really is that easy Ephesians 2:8.

If you prayed along the lines above believing Jesus died to pay for your sins and you truly meant it when you turned from your sins then congratulations you are now part of an immense Kingdom and family. You now belong to Jesus who will never leave you or forsake you Heb. 13:5-6. And, you will most certainly enter Heaven when the time comes. In the meantime, when you receive Jesus as your Savior you also receive God’s Holy Spirit who dwells within you  Rom. 8:9-14. You may have even felt this as you prayed to Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. You may have felt a wash of love come over you, or a cool and soothing breeze or perhaps nothing at all. Whatever the case, you are indeed indwelt by God’s spirit. He is our helper and comforter. You may be worried about turning from some of your sins. They will surely still tempt you. The Spirit will help you with that  Rom. 8:26. Remember, too, that while we may stumble on occasion and sin – as long as we confess and repent and pray for forgiveness, in Jesus we will be forgiven.

That does not mean we can sin all we want. Not at all. We must resist temptation with all our might. Don’t worry, as time goes on you will find it easier to resist temptation as the Spirit works within you.

It is also important that you find a Bible and a Bible believing church – you can tell a good church by how much the Pastor reads from the bible. If he rarely refers to it chances are you should look for another church, no matter how “uplifting” the Pastor’s message might be. If the Pastor refers to his bible often and uses biblical verses to make his point chances are you are in the right place. Most churches are happy to provide new believers with a bible.

I have included some links at the end of this article to help you find your way to solid Biblical teaching. New Christians are vulnerable to those who would mislead you with false doctrine. By testing everything against the bible you can be sure you aren’t being led astray.

For those in Christ Jesus all of the doom and gloom in the world is simply more and more evidence that our Lord will be coming for us soon to catch us away from this darkening and doomed world to be with Him in Heaven. In Christ there is such a beautiful and thrilling future, a future of peace and love, a future of eternal health, vitality and fellowship with our loved ones who accepted Christ, a future in the presence of God Himself. Imagine having a one on one conversation with the One who created the universe and who loves you so very much that he was willing to be brutally tortured, nailed to a cross and hung there, suffering horribly, until he died so that you would have the chance to be freed from your sins, changed into a new creation and to live forever in a place so awesome that when the Apostle Paul experienced it briefly he felt it unlawful to even try to describe. How would one even thank Him? I think I would just fall to my face and worship Him. Tears come as I think upon it.

Yes, things look bleak and so much has changed – and for the worst. We have been saddled with the worst President in the history of this country. The damage done may not be repairable and the enemies of our form of Government have infiltrated it through and through. Christians are being beaten down, silenced and persecuted and it will only get worse. But instead of hopelessness, we should be full of joy and hope – for when days just like these days we see before us come upon the world, then we are told to look up, for our redemption draws nigh!

May The Grace and Peace of God be Upon You.

Meant To Be

Meant to be. This little idiom played an important part in my Christian journey. To this day I often find myself in circumstances that have come together despite the odds being totally against them. Today, when this happens, I thank God and chalk it up to being Meant To Be. This didn’t happen overnight however.

Growing up, my family was not spiritual at all. In fact, circumstances in my life had caused me to resent, even hate God. During my late teens I became a devoted atheist. The great astronomer and physicist, Carl Sagan fascinated me with his explanations of physics and I studied his books and videos with great interest. By the time I was in college I was convinced God did not exist.

Time went by and I found myself wrestling with the nagging feeling that there was more to the whole God thing than I thought. After some time I got tired of constantly dealing with that strange, nagging feeling and decided to prove to myself that the whole concept of God was nonsense. I began by reading the bible. I was happy to find that there were, what I thought to be, many inconsistencies, even contradictions in the bible. Then there was the conflict between scientific “fact” and biblical “tradition” to consider as well.

Proving this to myself had required studying the bible and asking a lot of questions as well as reading various literature (there was no internet in those days). Most of the books I read were written by atheists and focused on debunking the bible. That was fine because that was what I wanted anyway. After several months I was confident that there was no God, nor was there a heaven or hell.

Then, out of the blue, I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. Go figure!

How did that happen? Well, remember that nagging feeling I talked about? During and especially after my research that nagging feeling became overwhelming. The more I felt it the harder I worked at not believing. For years I was torn. I didn’t know what I believed, yet somehow I did. Unlike many Christians who accept Jesus and immediately act differently, after I accepted Jesus I went on much the same as I had before. This went on for a long time. I was what you would call a “closet” Christian I guess. I knew something had changed but I was reluctant, scared, even embarrassed, to act on the changes in my heart.

Then, one day I stumbled on a radio show that focused on responding to the so-called “problems” with the bible, with science and questions about Christianity in general.   Each day they took calls from skeptics and believers alike. They were fearless and tackled every question no matter how difficult or controversial. After they answered a caller’s question they always followed it by insisting that the caller do their own research and verify everything they said. I began listening every day.

It didn’t take long before they had covered every one of my criticisms and many others that I hadn’t even thought of. Their answers were convincing but I took their admonition seriously and did my own research as well. I got the old materials out and some new ones as well. The internet was still a baby but even then it was full of websites that dealt with both sides of this issue. I took full advantage of them and poured over every issue. While it took time the reservations I had regarding the bible, the existence of God, Jesus and Christianity were gradually resolved.

Once my faith was established the Lord began working on leading me into a deeper relationship with Him. Even though my wife believed in God she had not yet accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior – a result of serious wounds she received in Church during her early years. Nevertheless, as significant blessings happened in our lives that could not be explained we began to simply say, ‘well, I guess it was just meant to be…’ At first we sort of chuckled at this. However, after the number of these events could no longer be counted on two hands we had to ask ourselves: If it is meant to be, then who makes that decision? That question became a springboard for both myself and my wife into a deeper faith in God.

From my former studies I knew that God was sovereign (Daniel 4:17). I knew that all things worked together for good (Romans 8:28). I knew that God would always look after me (Philippians 4:19), and that God loves us all so much that He sent His only Son to die for us so that anyone who believes can have eternal life in Him (John 3:16).

Because of this I experienced a renewed passion for God’s Word and to this day, decades later, I read my Bible daily, pray many times each day and I have a full and rich relationship with our Lord that I value more than anything this world has to offer. My wife, too, has come to salvation in Christ and together our faith sustains us in this darkening world. I don’t say any of this to boast. Heaven forbid! I only give this as a testimony to how God works in people’s lives, often in subtle ways. In this case a simple saying, ‘Meant to Be,’ revolutionized two individual’s relationship with the Lord.

It was well over twenty five years ago that I initially accepted Jesus as savior. The changes that didn’t happen overnight happened gradually but dramatically and I have been out of the “Christian closet” for years. Its funny, but I’m thankful for the time when I worked so hard to not believe in God because today, when I am assailed by doubt and worry, I pray and reflect on that time. The Lord often brings the things I learned to mind and I am reassured. My wife and I are still amazed at how many things happen in this life that are obviously ‘Meant To Be’ and that is a great comfort for we are reminded that our Heavenly Father is always watching over us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Faith is a mystery. It doesn’t come from the intellect. But, that doesn’t mean you have to leave logic and reason behind to believe. In fact, I think it is just as important to know why you believe as it is to know what you believe. In fact, the Apostle Peter exhorts us to: " ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason of the hope in you..." (1 Peter 3:15)

I hope that, perhaps, if you are struggling with faith, or don’t know where to turn in these troubling times, that this testimony might encourage you to seek Jesus and in Him find that peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

I’m not sure what prompted me to write this tonight. Perhaps your stopping by to read this was Meant To Be – I don’t know. I just had this nagging feeling…

May God’s Grace and Peace Be Upon You,
